is one of the most important and essential part which provides proper functioning of the whole elevators complex and assure further topquality grain storage. Bins differ in their design and equipment due to the operating factors and type of the elevator complex is used.
Grain House Co. available bins for grain storage:
Commercial Bins are designed only for storage cool dry and free-flowing grain. Drying is not provided in such bins.

Farm Bins (Non-Stiffened and Stiffened)


Farm Bins (Non-Stiffened and Stiffened) up to 5 rings are designed to provide general drying and grain storage.
Farm bins up to 7 rings and more are designed only for storage and grain aeration, drying is not provided.
Dimensions:
Diameter: 15’ – 48’ = 4.57 m – 14.63 m.
Height: 5 – 12 rings = 12 m – 14.4 m.
Farm Stiffened Heavy Gauge Drying Bins are designed for general drying, wet holding/working and storage. They can be equipped with a stirring device with up to 5 down augers, a center unload continuous flow system or a recirculating device.
Dimensions:
Diameter: 18’ – 48’ = 5.48 m – 14.63 m.
Height: 5 – 6 rings = 6 m – 7.2 m.
On customers request farm bins can be strengthen with additional stiffeners, which transfers roof loads directly to the foundation, resulting in less stress on the sidewall sheets. This allows the use of lighter gauge sidewall sheets without sacrificing structural strength, making a stiffened bin more economical. Stiffened bins also provide excellent structural stability against grain, wind and seismic forces.

Hopper Bins

Hopper Bins are used for a short time grain storage before further technical operations.
Hopper Bins of Heavy Duty is among the strongest in the industry have wide corrugations, extra-strong stiffeners, and heavy-duty hopper panels. Heavy-Duty Hopper Bins are designed for storage and aeration only. No drying. Wet grain (over 16% moisture) may be stored short-term for a maximum of 72 hours. Aeration is needed for storage. The bottom part of the bin is made of thick galvanized steel to assure strength and lifetime. The support part of the bin poses steel legs. Bins of heavy duty can be set on substructure platforms and be operated as working bins, and also for a long-term of cool dry grain storage.

Height: 3 – 12 rings = 3,6 m – 14,4 m.

Medium-Duty Hoppers are economical choice for smaller operations. Medium-Duty Hopper Bins feature legs formed in extra-strong stiffener profile. Legs extend to the bottom two rings, providing extra support for the sidewall sheets.

12’, 15’ and 18’ diameter bins have three legs per sidewall sheet.
21’ diameter bins have four legs per sidewall sheet.
12’ hopper is 60°.
15’ – 21’ hoppers are 45°.
